Airports
- The closest airport is Airport
Bremen. From Bremen Joey can pick you up by car sincs it's only about
50 km far from Oldenburg.
- A larger airport is Flughafen Hamburg which is about 200 km far from Oldenburg. If you
arrive there, go to the train station and find a train to Oldenburg
(Oldbg). The train needs to go through Bremen or you end up in the wrong
Oldenburg. Joey will pick you up from the Oldenburg train station if you
give him a call and tell him when you will arrive.
- Another international airport in this area is Schiphol in Amsterdam. If you arrive there, take a train via
Groningen to Oldenburg. Joey will pick you up from the Oldenburg train
station if you give him a call and tell him when you will arrive.
- Since Ryan Air flies to Groningen (called Amsterdam) this may also be interesting. In
Groningen, just pick a train to Oldenburg. Joey can pick you up from
the Oldenburg train station if you give him a call and tell him when you
will arrive.
- Ryan Air also flies to Lübeck (called Hamburg), which is about 300km far
from Oldenburg. Just take a train to Hamburg and then from Hamburg to
Oldenburg, which needs to go through Bremen (see above). Joey can pick
you up from the train station in Oldenburg.
Train
If you arrive by train, you'll need to take the train to Oldenburg (Oldbg).
The train needs to go through Bremen or you end up in the wrong Oldenburg
(except when you're coming from the Netherlands, when it most probably goes
via Emden). Joey will pick you up from the Oldenburg train station if you
give him a call and tell him when you will arrive. Otherwise, just take the
bus 306 to "Universität". The main entrance of the scientific building is
its last station.
